How to download and install All-Ways software

All-Ways is free Brisnet handicapping software for Windows. Download and install it from brisnet.com, save your All-Ways data files to the FRANDATA folder, then unzip and process each file in All-Ways. You can also load Exotic Results files to add race results.

All-Ways is free handicapping software from Brisnet for Windows computers. This guide shows you how to install it, download data files, and load them into the program.

What you need to know

  • All-Ways runs on Windows computers.
  • All-Ways files must be saved in the FRANDATA folder on your C: drive (C:\Frandata). The program won't find files saved anywhere else.
  • If the download doesn't work in Internet Explorer, use Google Chrome instead.

How to download and install All-Ways

  1. Go to brisnet.com and select Free Software at the top left of the page.
  2. Select All-Ways.
  3. Select the All-Ways Installation Software download link.
  4. Open the downloaded file and follow the prompts to finish installing.

When installation is complete, an All-Ways icon appears on your desktop or in your Start menu.

How to download All-Ways data files

  1. On brisnet.com, go to All-Ways Data Files.
  2. Find the track and date you want.
  3. Right-click the date and select Save Link As (or Save Target As, depending on your browser).
  4. Choose the FRANDATA folder (Computer > Local Disk (C:) > Frandata), then select Save.

Most browsers save files to your Downloads folder automatically, so using Save Link As lets you choose the FRANDATA folder instead.

How to unzip and process a data file

  1. Open All-Ways and select Start.
  2. Select Toolbox.
  3. Select UNZIP.
  4. Select UNZIP ONE DATA FILE.
  5. In the blue box on the right, select the file you downloaded.
  6. Select Go Unzip, then select OK when the unzip is successful.
  7. Select MAIN MENU at the bottom of the screen.
  8. Select DATABASE.
  9. Select PROCESS DATA FILE.
  10. Select PROCESS ONE DATA FILE.
  11. In the blue box on the right, select the file you unzipped.
  12. Select FILE OK, to the left of the blue box.
  13. Select GO at the bottom of the screen.

If no error messages appear, your file is ready to use.

How to load Exotic Results files

  1. On brisnet.com, go to Results & Charts and find the Exotic Results file you want.
  2. Save the file to the FRANDATA folder, the same way as your data files.
  3. Open All-Ways and unzip the file (steps 1–7 above).
  4. From the main menu, select DATABASE.
  5. Select ENTER RESULTS.
  6. In the box next to TRACK OK, enter the three-letter track code (for example, PRX for Parx).
  7. Select TRACK OK.
  8. Select RACE OK to enter results one race at a time, or select AUTO ONE.

Important details

  • If a file won't unzip or process: the download may not have finished. Delete the file from your FRANDATA folder, download it again, and repeat the steps above.
  • If you have a wagering account, you may also find All-Ways data files under the Handicapping tab on your wagering site.
