Canadian rules will not allow exotic wagers to be placed before late scratches are released and those wagering pools are then opened. This generally means that multi-race wagers such as the Pick 3, Pick 4, and Pick 6 wagers are not available more than 1 hour before the post time of the first race at Canadian tracks.
